Graduate Accountancy Jobs

Accounting is an integral part of any business of any size.  Graduate accountancy jobs are the first building block in a career with many choices which will allow you to maintain an excellent standard of living throughout.

To pursue an accountancy career, contrary to what you may think, you don't need to have an accounting degree.  You will, of course, have to study to pass professional exams to gain the right qualifications, but very often graduates from other areas frequently fair better through this process.

Many large companies will look to recruit individuals with at least a 2.i degree from any area, then offering a expensive training program over a 3 year period to take you through all the necessary exams. 

To work in corporate accountancy, as well as the obvious numeracy and accuracy you will also need good interpersonal skills as you role will require being part of a multi disciplinary team.  In addition, good general commercial awareness will go along way to convincing a potential employer, looking to fill graduate accountancy jobs, that you would be a sound investment.
