Hints & Tips, and Recent Changes

Registered candidates who have been with us for some time, will already be aware that we upgraded our web-site layout, and introduced many improvements, in March 2008. Even so, we are already developing a list of desired improvements to be incorporated into the next upgrade.

In the meantime, therefore, we will be occasionally adding items to this Hints & Tips, section with a view to maximising the user-friendliness of the site.

Registering without uploading a CV

You can register on the site, and receive email job alerts, and even apply for jobs ... all without uploading a CV. But it is not a good idea because employers will not usually consider an application for which a CV is not available.

When you apply for a job your CV is made automatically available to the recruiter / employer who    advertised that job.

To upload a CV now ... Click-by click guide

• Log in ... This will take you to the candidate portfolio screen.
• Click on Change Details.
• Click on Profile.
• Click on Browse to locate your CV on your own computer file-system
• Click Open to upload it to the ukit-careers.co.uk web-site.
