The process of an Applications Developer is a lengthy one, beginning with designing and writing the specifications of the application. This is done by establishing a detailed specification from the client and ensuring that it meets the needs at this early stage.

The next stage of the process would then involve building the application, this is done by breaking down the program specifications into its most basic elements and translating it into a programming language. The testing phase can be a lengthy one, depending on the amount of issues that arise, any issues must be resolved.

There may also be a need to provide supporting documentation to give to the client. Of course in an industry like this one, an applications developer must ensure they are keep themselves up to date with the latest developments - there may be opportunities to gain further education.
